The Stop the Traffic Foundation is a Las Vegas–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit tackling child trafficking through MOVIES & LEGISLATION by combining prevention, innovation, and systems-level action. Our work began with the award-winning feature film Vegas Traffic, but it’s grown into a national movement to educate, prevent, and restore.
We work with law enforcement, survivors, government officials, and community partners to drive awareness, advocacy, and real-world impact through initiatives that focus on prevention, extraction, and restoration.

WHAT WE DO
THE PROBLEM
Child trafficking thrives in silence. The FBI has identified Las Vegas as one of 13 High Intensity Child Prostitution Areas in the U.S. We believe the first step in fighting it is exposing the truth.
MEDIA: OUR PRO BONO STUDIO
Our donors fund professional video, PSAs, and social campaigns for nonprofits fighting child exploitation, at no cost to them. We also partner with great organizations like Safe Place, Olive Crest, and Allyfe Pregnancy Clinic to connect kids and families with the resources they need.
LEGISLATION: OUR NEVADA AGENDA
Six priorities we are researching, drafting, and advocating for:

Harsher sentences: Tougher penalties for sexual offenses against children under 8, so offenders know Nevada is the last place to try it

Lift the Veil: Mobile X-ray units that help law enforcement find drugged or hidden children in vehicle compartments during AMBER Alerts and checkpoints

Stronger Safe Harbor: Minors arrested for prostitution or crimes committed under grooming, coercion, or desperation are treated as victims, not criminals

Survivor support: Laws that expand services, protections, and pathways to healing for survivors and their families

Modern data and research: Update Nevada's aging statistics and research statutes so we can measure the problem and fund what works

Shared information network: A secure, privacy-protected system that lets nonprofits, the state, counties, and police share information on offenders and coordinate survivor support

Short Synopsis of the Film's Plot
In VEGAS TRAFFIC, a young girl, caught in a world of unimaginable horrors, is trafficked by a dangerous ring operating in Las Vegas. As she faces exploitation, a seasoned investigator races against time to rescue her, facing a complex network of criminal activity. Along the way, the story reveals the underworld of trafficking and the sacrifices made by those committed to fighting back.
With its gritty portrayal of the issue, VEGAS TRAFFIC moves beyond entertainment to become a catalyst for action, leaving audiences deeply affected and determined to take part in eradicating this global crisis.
